It all started as a bet on implementing the Six Sigma concepts within Tramar. We thought about implementing Six Sigma with the goal of reducing recurring problems. In the past, the solution was always trial and error, and the effectiveness was very low. After the training, we learned how to structure, evaluate, and propose solutions to problems that had persisted for years, and the effectiveness was proven as the improvement in our KPIs was remarkable. Today we are implementing the methodology not only for recurring problems but also for the development of new materials, new products, improvement of production processes, etc. We have much to thank Plana and Matheus for, a company with committed people and a bright future ahead. We are proud to say that this bet has turned into a partnership of over three years.

We, at Quality Assurance, deal with quality issues in warranty, and one of our main internal challenges is estimating the impact (in terms of quantity and financially) for each different failure mode found. This estimation helps us determine which issues to prioritize and also the financial impact that particular failure mode will have on us.
